A new knitter!
I was so excited when I looked in the mail yesterday. DH's childhood friend Jeff and his gal-pal Leigh Anne came thru town two months ago. I showed Leigh Anne how to do garter stitch, and look at what she's doing! Already! Way to go!

Aw! Good work, bets! My newly-taught knitters never give me anything. I must be doing something wrong.
Love the wrapping too, that's a gal with an eye for color.
hah...i thought when i saw the pics you'd turned into a paper crafter too...gorgeous wrapping....wish i was that creative (grumble grumble says she who has never had an original idea in her life...)
