More fun!

Remember this yarn? I bought a ton of it. Cheap. In three colors. I've had Schachenmayr Inspiration #68 for about 4 years, and always liked this top. In the original yarn, it cost about 80.00 to make. I'm working on the $7.76 version. That's a relief, you know? I can't do anything but have fun. There's no expensive yarn investment to screw up. I have an interesting yarn that suits an interesting pattern!

Interesting construction. I am guessing the sides are knitted long ways and the middle bit is knitted up . Are you going to do a bit of short rowing on the side bits?
Love it the $7.76 version. You go girl

Yes, the front and back panels are done first, then the sides are done. The shoulder seams are last. I think if I want waist shaping, I would put it in the center panel. I hadn't really thought about side shaping. Hmmm. Suzann, you are confusing the ditsy girl!

Sounds like you are really prepared for fun. Is this for you or one of your beneficiaries?

i saw yarn packs yesterday at Chez Casuelle that sold for over 300$ and if you needed size large (which is still too small) add another 300$ I like less then 8 dollars too----can't wait to see how it turns out!

That's soooo much money to spend, and I'd feel like crap if it didn't fit exactly.
