WHHHEEEEEEE!

Look at my train wreck! That's right, it's Skacel Solista. It was on sale at Herrschner's last week for .97 a ball. It's cotton and rayon, an Italian tubular ribbon, and it reminds me of SOS. You know, Morse code--..._ _ _... It is at once exhilarating and scary. I like things with high contrast, and this is nothing BUT high contrast. Either I get it right or it looks like fright night.

Didja get that? ;-)

One of the silly things my best friend & I did in high school was send each other messages in Morse.

Oh, Marie,

YOU make me laugh. I used to work at a military unit with dozens of ditty-boppers, but I had to go look for an on-line translator. Yes, you are right, it does look like peppermint, but I also have black and white, and a silver and white combo.

It looks likes what feels like what remains of my brain.

Weird how my Morse spacing ended up on your blog. I had 2 spaces between letters and 5 between words to make readability easier, but Blogger automagically adjusted everything to 1 space in between. How annoying.

Oh my, you have a lot of that yarn. What does it look like knitted up?

You know, the other thing your pic makes me think of is shoe laces...

Something bled on your nice white yarn.

I can see how you might think it's either going to be really good or a real mess. What's the plan for it? Or are you waiting for inspiration? Bri

That's going to be an exciting challenge! Lately I've been in the mood for surprising yarn too so I can see why you succumbed :-).

I won't say what it looks like to me. I am sure it won't look like that to me anymore when it is a sweater, and I will be kicking myself for not having gotten a jillion skeins of it for myself...

Oh, T, you are going to say it looks like something that goes with that damned Tahki Positano, aren't you? BAD GIRL!

I think it's perfect for modular stuff. And I think I should make modular stuff with it.
