HeartBeat

Why, yes, I have cheated on Wren. Here is the front of the Heartbeat Sweater, by Just One More Row, in Plymouth Bella.

I was a bit on the fence about this, because the yarn seemed to make very regular stripes, and I wasn't sure if I liked it. I reserved judgement til I got the whole front finished, and it's kind of cool. I have to finish the back, sides and sleeves to see what I really think.

Is this done sort of like a top down raglan, with no hole for the head and the begining in the middle of the chest?

Looks cool so far. How are you liking the Bella?

Bets, that is incredible.I love it. Just when I had decided I really, really wasn't going to get the Bella. I didn't realize it was the right gauge or did you fiddle? I ended up getting the pattern, should be arriving any day now. Daryl

Bella's a bit splitty/snaggy. This starts as most of a mitered square, and then the bottom corners and shoulders get worked it. She writes a decent pattern.

Oh Bets, I love it. It looks like spring and cool breezes. Beautiful
Kneel my child you are absolved of any Wren guilt :-P I will nag you no more.
Is it for you? Do you think Mayfair would work?

Oooohh! That is terrific, JG! I bought that pattern meaning to make it in Lang's Mille Colori. Your yarn choice looks just amaazing!

I think Mayfair would work just fine, as would the Mille Colori, they will just look more like the photo. I bought Mayfair with the pattern in mind.

It's Kaleidoscopic! Is that the Mayfair Color?

i love it too Would it be easy to elongate. I have a very long torso and as is would barely cover the girls!

Yes, this is a really good top for multi-colored yarns, and it's easy to elongate. The back and front are identical, and that's the only hurdle to using it as a winter pattern too. I made my neck fairly shallow because of the double Vs, hope I can get it over my big fat head!

Kind of cool? I think it's very cool. Is this for you? Bri

I love that top, Bets. I never would have thought that Plymouth Bella could look so good. I have 2 skeins in that very same colorway, but I used it for baby and toddler hats. I need that top pattern, with that yarn.
