Last week,
Gaile busted Lion Brand for the hyberbolic crochet coral reef. I compared it to tampons sent thru a shredder. This week, LB waxes poetic about the fiber model of the
Great Barrier reef. I've seen this sculpture previously, and I was very excited when I saw it. Absolutely captivated. That sculptor called it "sale bin" at LYS.

Love the analogy of the shredded tampons. ;-} Not sure why one would want to crochet a coral reef - can't think of one good reason!
Did you see the crocheted earflap hat in yesterday's Lionbrand e-mailing? Oh, boy that screams "my mom/girlfriend made this for me" ! UUUGLY!

Ya know, those pre-shredded sausage looking thingies in the top picture have piqued my interest. I'm still looking for a tampon that really sucks.
Matching panty liners and thong?
LMAO!
HAHAHAHA!
I keep hoping that "maybe" these things look better in person, but I have my doubts...LOL.
You crack me up (about the shredded tampons)...
Coral reef was not the first thing that popped into MY mind, but I sure like the tampon analogy - and I can say that in public :)! LMAO!!
