Wren Along 2007

Here she is! The Berroco Wren button, for those who care to steal the button. We'll begin the KAL for Berroco's Wren on April 1!
I have lovely, yummy Elann Highland Silk in Calypso Green waiting in the wings (bad bird joke) for my sweater. Please speak up if you'll be joining us! I'd love to link your blog.
And if you can't make the April 1 deadline, don't sweat it. The more the merrier!

I would like to join but I am going to wait for the Zodiac, I am making it for a niece, so I think the colors of Zodiac will work for her!!

I'd love to join this. Does anyone have any idea as to make the collar slimmer. It seems to ride pretty high on the neck in the back.

I would think that making the back neckline a little deeper would drop the collar down signficantly, Nora. Welcome!

Highland Silk?? No one suggested Highland Silk!! That's my favorite Elann yarn. Hmmm, what colors do I have enough of for Wren???

But, I'm not doin' so well with the KALs. Jayne and I have both stalled out on the Ribby Cardi and I haven't even successfully finished row 2 of Moonlight Sonata, though Jayne's shipment of the extra skeins of Starlight Blue Baby Cash arrived yesterday.

Maybe I can be the lone Wren KALer starting May 1???

Barbara, you and Grace can carry round two. She'll start later also!

Hi there! How do I "join" the KAL? I started Wren last night - love the pattern.

Question (I can't believe I'm already "stuck"). The first set of decreases on the back ribbing, any specific decrease?

Thanks!

I started Wren awhile ago and did not know about this knitalong - sounds like fun!

I started the Wren a week ago with Berroco Zodiac in blue that I got on major sale at Hershner. I have completed the back and 2 sleeves and am now working on the left front. Since I have only been knitting for 1.5years, I have never seen the term "AT THE SAME TIME" I may have to slow down until I figure this out. I was excited to find your KAL. I will blog and post some KIP work on the Wren soon.

Anonymous: I used the calculator at http://www.thedietdiary.com/knittingfiend/tools/EvenlySpace.html
to decrease the stitches after the ribbing. HTH, Laurie
