Some things are endless....

I've been working on a pattern I got from Yuzawaya in Tokyo several years ago. They wouldn't let me take a picture of the sample garment, so I was stuck with an incomprehesible Japanese pattern. I happened to run across an old Nihon Vogue from the 80s, and that gave me the keys to unlocking the pattern. I'm working Elann's Sonata in Cypress Grove....and now that I understand the pattern, it's just endless stripes of stockinette with bands of dropped garter. My enthusiasm needs a boost!

Speaking of other things that seem to go on forever, Natalie Mains is whining again.
"The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism," Maines resumes, through gritted teeth. "Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country… I don't see why people care about patriotism."http://www.telegraph.co.uk/arts/main.jhtml?xml=/arts/2006/06/15/bmdixie15.xml

I gotta say it, because obviously she fell asleep in Civics class-Freedom of Speech comes with responsibility...if people pay to listen to you, they can take their money elsewhere if they don't like your message.

Good going Bets! I have the blogs I read listed on Bloglines.com and when I go there I can see who has updated their blog. You're there now under my "Best" category. I love your new tanned look in your polka dot bikini on the side bar!
