A glimpse of my weekend

Mi familia left. A good time was had by all. Everyone had fun. DBIL is a stitch. He's looking for a rich older woman....with a cough. Snarky man. All this smart-aleckedness runs in the family, so I was a moving target. Here they are taking pot-shots at 0630 this morning!
On the way home from dinner last night, my loving family picked on me so much, I decided that I was homely and didn't have good taste. Which is why I picked my DH, OBVIOUSLY..... I had DMIL laughing so hard I was yelling "Pull over, she's gonna wet her pants."

She had a good time helping me put together Christmas trinkets for the store. And laughed her head off when I told her she coulda stopped at three kids and skipped her youngest pride and joy all together, because he's so grouchy!

My DH told me I looked lovely. Guess I should take that last one back!!

Charming post. Of course you know they tease you to death because they love you to death. What a cutie you married!

(and I didn't need to look at a translator)

Hard to remember that when your MIL is howling with laughter and slugging your shoulder....

I wanna be part of your family! Sounds like you ended up with the perfect relationships. Someday those DDs will realize what they are missing and be joyous at being welcomed in. Daryl

Bets, what a hoot! Man, I want to come to family reunions at YOUR house. I love a snarky crowd, my kind of folks. ;-}
Don't tell DH, but he IS a good-looking man. But grouchy is as grouchy does...he could get in big trouble if he doesn't tell you you're lovely. Cause you are. :-}

All that stuff...and in my family, if a MIL GOT a package, That would be TALKed abut for months...

(I privately think of you as QOP...Queen of Postage. Or maybe QOM...Queen of Mail...or something like that....)

Anyway, posting this here because I have no idea what is going on with your email - I knew, but it is 12:45 am and I have forgotten -

When I was out at the Supermarket I saw a copy of Better Homes and Gardens Special publications, with some title about Diabetics.

IT promised a bunch of casserole recipes.

Now, you probably got it last week, but if you didn't, do you want me to get you one and stick it in the box with the HUGe stuff?

And you are getting the diabetic cake recipe that my mother's diabetic friends rave over...

T, who says that you can just delete this after you read it, as it does not say much to the rest of the blogiverse...

Too funny Bets! Sounds like my "Outlaws". And snark requires speed, wit and skill; I think of it as a talent :)!
