Sugar, show 'em what we got.

There's been a quality vs. compliments debate over Namaste bags in Knitland. One of my friends got so aggravated, she went to Vera Bradley. I wandered over there, and BOOM! I had gifts for all the women in my family. Aunts, cousins in Tokyo? Check. Impossible to buy for SIL? Check! DMIL? OMG-she's going to have a Verafest! I bought enough for her Christmas AND birthday, because I found a pretty good deal on a pattern (Capri) I know she'll like.

Words of advice?

-skip the Cool Keepers-they are a little on the small size.
-prices vary according to color, so pay attention.
-stay in the sale section.

You did good. Gonna have some happy family this year. Doesn't it make you feel good to know you scored big time on the present scene?

Silly girl! Why didn't you knit any (ANY) of these warm things for us in GE? Black works with 35-10 and us dudes can wear.

Have you figured out WHO from GE would be posting here? I believe you were the 'B' team Mom for a bit??? A few more hints...
--Around the time of Annie S and hubby Gil.
--Before Clark went belly-up and RMS-xx-90 or SEM-xx-90 was permanently scarred in your retina. (but not much before)
--When Cin's 28-cents-a-day orphan picture hung above Tom's desk
--and Wally, the Bear, and Vic M (thief).
--And El Capitain Washi....
--But who could forget 'Sleepy'

I'll check back to see if you have any guesses. You were always cool, wanted to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving down there in South Tejano Country!

You went wild there! Are you keeping a little something for yourself?

You MUST have been a dickie-less wonder. I owned a dickie, so I was plenty warm. You are not Brian, or Vandergriff, but you know the equipment nomenclatures, so you are an old school phone spy.....Cindy's photo was not the orphan du jour, but the coffee fund poster child. And the tape mission designator was Eur, not SEM or RMS, so that means you didn't actually get your hands dirty. HA.

No, not the Goof (though I went thru Goodbuddy w/ him), but I spent many a day hanging out the back of the saber with headsets on...many a day (and night). And Cindy was the orphan nobody but Wally wanted. And the original designator on 8 August was RMS when all of us weenies got dirty. We switched to EUR when the Group/Wing got their act together. So, here you go...
"End of tape, end of tape, end of tape. This is [XX] signing off. Msn number RMS-023-90, tape number 147 on 12Aug90 up time 1207L, down time 1442L. This tape is for official use only, this tape IS for official use only."

Well, let's see-
Graziano, Knode, Beav, Lisa, Splinter, Dean (wrong class), the freckled kid whose name escapes me. Were you at Ramstein in the parking lot? Not Paul, not Chris, not Dawn. Not Heidi.
