Love the necklace. I adore big jewelry, but not nugget jewelry, because it doesn't take much ability to tumble rocks (I should know, I am a rockhound), and seems too easy. I can't believe the prices some dept stores are charging for nugget necklaces. Rockhounds look at that and just laugh. Yours is just right!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29470853.post-27195551195569460552007-02-11T13:08:00.000-06:002007-02-11T13:08:00.000-06:00Ten years living in Wyoming: yep, had the cowboy s...Ten years living in Wyoming: yep, had the cowboy stuff, and my poor old Dingoes are still somewhere in the back of the closet. Remember those?

And you know what a Catahoula is! Those are scary-looking dogs!! We had renter neighbors for about 4 years, and their male absolutely terrified me, jumping up and growling at me face to face over the backyard wall. The guy was a (insert favorite pejorative) and wouldn't 'introduce' us to the dogs. We finally built the wall higher.CatBookMomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13539824268008907535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29470853.post-3799169293009408742007-02-11T12:40:00.000-06:002007-02-11T12:40:00.000-06:00Hm, me too, definitely not a country-style lover. I make my own jewellery and collect some, but tend to be attracted to the smaller versions. Funny, as I rarely wear jewellry anymore :).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29470853.post-65354663103506939492007-02-11T12:35:00.000-06:002007-02-11T12:35:00.000-06:00Love the necklace! I think it stems back to my formative years in the early '70's hippie days.Joanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08843470618654743971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29470853.post-20251599694120398552007-02-11T11:55:00.000-06:002007-02-11T11:55:00.000-06:00Yes, I am keeping it. I was "almost" thinking about maybe working on Kiri again...but I'm resigned to finishing Lady E before anything else...period...if it kills me...I'm so not into the country/western thing....however...DH & I both drive pickemup trucks, I have both red and black fancy looking cowboy boots (cuz I like how they look with skirts/dresses) and we have horses (ok they're DDs..and she looooves country music). I do like that necklace though...the colors are great, and the rocks aren't so big that the thing can be used as a weapon. Great colors. Is it a keeper for you?LisaW.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00127886567995750258noreply@blogger.com
